National Trumpet Competition

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – The United States Air Force Academy Band and flugel horn soloist, Technical Sergeant Patrick Brush, will perform Kevin Walczyk’s band arrangement of STARDUST (for solo flugel horn and wind ensemble) at the 2017 National Trumpet Competition in Denver, Colorado. The arrangement was composed for New York Philharmonic principal trumpet, Christopher Martin who premiered the work with the Musashino Academia Musicae under the baton of Ray Cramer. The National Trumpet Competition will be hosted at Metropolitan State University in Denver.
